'Tis the season to be jolly, and the season for our Real Estate sales to start zooming again. Inventories have plumped up in virtually all categories, so there are plenty of
choices--from vacation rental condos starting at about $400K to fabulous oceanfront homes up to $20 million--and everything in between. Prices do appear to be leveling off a bit, and with more choices, you may have more leverage as a Buyer. Besides, buying property in a resort community is different than buying a home for yourself and your family--sales here are based more on "wants" than they are "needs".
Although we can't look forward to a white Christmas here on Maui, our temps do cool down a bit, plus our winter version of the Maui Film Festival kicks off next week, debuting over 50 top-notch films at different venues around the island. If you're going to be here, be sure to check them out. Also, a fabulous rendition of "Scrooge, the Musical" plays through December 18th at the Queen Kaahumanu shopping center--not to be missed. There are plenty of holiday things-to-do for the whole family here on Maui.
