Aloha to All!
As we send our prayers and donations to help the thousands of displaced families in the Gulf Coast states, it is also a time to remember those who were lost on 9/11/01. I am grateful every day to have the opportunity to live in Maui, in a safe haven, and enjoy all that this beautiful island has to offer, but my heart goes out to those less fortunate.
Sorry--I just felt that had to be said. Things are quieting down here on Maui as the summer visitors are gone, kids are back in school, and you don't need reservations to dine at your favorite restaurant! If you're the type that likes to avoid crowds and the hustle and bustle they create, this is a great time to visit! I'm excited as I will be traveling the end of this month and for most of October with stops in Santa Cruz, CA, West Hartford, CT, and Zurich, Switzerland--my very first trip to Europe! If you don't get a newsletter in October, you'll know why...
Interest rates remain fairly consistent, as does our 2-3% monthly rate of appreciation here in Maui, although as I look over our current inventory, it seems a little "stale", with a few over-priced beauties and not much that really jumps out at me as a "best buy". I have managed to dig deep, though, and come up with a few that should peak your interest.
