No April Fool's Here--Just Great Buys in Condos and Homes!

Aloha,

April in Maui represents transition in several ways. Our weather is transitioning as winter showers (such as they were) give way to longer, warmer (84 instead of 82), sunnier days and #30 sunblock sales accelerate. Our visitors are more likely to be family units enjoying Spring Break from schools on the Mainland, and the island takes on a more festive feel as the beaches fill up with lots of kids playing in the water and having a blast!

To some degree our Real Estate market is transitioning, also. For the last several months, our Canadian visitors have been actively viewing and buying many of our resort properties, benefiting from the strength of their dollar compared to ours, as well as prices that have adjusted as much as 30-40% from highs of 4-5 years ago. Unfortunately, as their homeland begins to thaw, our Canadian guests will be heading back and planning next year's vacation to Maui--many of them in their own units!
